Former Iowa Clinic administrator to lead Adair County Health System

MercyOne announced the appointment of two chief executive positions to its affiliate hospital systems. Catherine Hillestad will join Adair County Health System in Greenfield as CEO, effective July 7. A native of Des Moines, Hillestad brings experience in community and rural health care systems, including an interim CEO role at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield. Most recently she was the practice administrator with the Iowa Clinic in Des Moines. Also, Joseph Mangiameli will join Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr as CEO, beginning July 26. Mangiameli brings more than 20 years of health care experience to his new role in Mount Ayr, most recently as market vice president of operations for CHI Health in Omaha.
