Bucks, Montco students Zoom to moon, take top prizes in Future City competition Imagine living on the moon 100 years from now, watching Moonstruck while munching on moon pies. Middle-school students from 30 educational institutions throughout the Delaware Valley got the chance recently to show just how they would not only survive but thrive that far from home and that far into the future. They participated in the 29th annual Future City competition. Future City is an organization that asks sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students to research and build cities using their imagination to design engineering concepts. Most of the competitions involve earthly dwellings, but this year, Future City wanted the kids to go far out and plan a lunar landscape on which they could put down roots. ....
