The Texas senator accused the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Turner Network Television (TNT) of “obvious bias” against Republicans for honouring Black Democrats as part of a Black History Month segment.
He went on to question why Barack Obama, Kamala Harris and Stacey Abrams were pictured on screen but not Black Republicans like Tim Scott or Condi Rice.
People pointed out that he has no place telling the NBA – or anyone, for that matter – which Black political figures they should or shouldn’t be celebrating.
