we have coverage of the storm. maureen naylor is in the south bay where there is heavy rain coming through. we will begin with meteorologist bill martin tracking the conditions. right now it is raining and it is messy and everybody getting back to work and the rain has been pretty relentless. this morning it was there and this afternoon relentless. you see the warm air coming. look at the airmass. warm moisture air in the state. the cooler air getting pushed to the snort and seeing snow in the lower elevations. the purple and pink areas represent freezing precipitation. we are in the foothills. towards cheeko. 2,000 feet near paradise and above warfield and feather falls getting snow and there s an indication how cool the airmass is. colfax snow and a foot in donner and we got rain. heavy rain showing up in the fremont area. you can see it down in this area. the heaviest rain will continue to be moving through the south bay. in the next hour or so. and so this heavy rain
