CASS CITY Through generous donations and support from community members, Cass City alumni, and local businesses, organizations, and foundations, the Cass City Promise is on track to initiate its first phase next year, setting current and future Cass City students up for success with student savings accounts with help from Thumb Bank and Trust and the Sanilac Community Foundation.
Research has shown that students with just $500 or less saved for furthering their education are three times more likely to continue their post-secondary education and four times more likely to graduate from a university or trade school. ....
