About an hour ago or so we noticed it was thick and black. It never changed to gray which is usually a signal that perhaps the firefighters have been able to get a better handle on it. Right now as you can see the fire is still continuing to burn pretty thick and dark. I talked with a couple of residents out here whose main concern was that the fire was no the going to spread. And then also to try to make sure that the neighbors nearby to this property were not home and were going to be safe. That was one of the things i was talking with with the resident just a little while ago. She made sure to get some of the pets out of the neighbors home. The cat is safe thanks to her she says.
