GARDNERVILLE, Nev. – As Chris Longley looks back, she can see so clearly those moments where it started. She finds them in the resolute steps of her 9-year-old self striding up the walkways of a New England neighborhood to visit her father’s patients.
Two men drowned and one was injured when their boat sank during a fishing trip at Topaz Lake south of Carson City on Saturday. The injured was admitted for hypothermia to Carson Valley Medical Center and later released, according to the Douglas County Sheriff s Office and the Nevada Department of Wildlife.
UPDATE 5 PM: MINDEN The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has identified those involved involved in a fatal boating accident that happened Saturday at Topaz Lake.
