The Quad County Emergency Operations Center in Carson City reports Monday, April 20 that there are 3 additional recoveries and no new positive cases of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. The total number of cases remains at 61, with 18 recoveries, 43 cases remain active.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, we can expect sunshine and a gradual warmup. Midweek events around town include art showings, yoga and meditation classes, Salsa dancing at Yaple s Ballroom, country and pop dancing at Carson Lanes, a safety workshop for women and more.
Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Wednesday, August 26, 2020 that there are four new cases and two additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 967, with 869 recoveries and fifteen deaths, 83 cases remain active.
The Office of the District Attorney in Carson City is collecting new or used business attire. The clothing collected will be donated to Classy Seconds which, through the work of Advocates to End Domestic Violence, provides free business attire to individuals seeking to enter or re-enter the job market.
