The Malaysian-made online used car trading platform Carsome who has also expanded its reach in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand, has recently made a foray into technical education. This is being done through the establishment of its own automotive education institution in Malaysia called Carsome Academy.

The brand new academy is set to offer industry-oriented training and guaranteed career opportunities for youths. It boasts accreditation by the Department of Skills Development under the Ministry of Human Resources as a Sistem Latihan Dual Nasional (SLDN) training centre.
