0ur correspondent in nairobi, catherine byaruhanga has the latest on the evacuations. the french and italian military flights have gone back home, carrying hundreds of citizens, not only french and italian citizens, but we understand there are americans and some african citizens also on the italian flights. evacuations are meant to continue today, some more people leaving on french flights. the italians also expect spaniards, sorry, are also expected to evacuate 70 of their nationals from their country. but in contrast, the united kingdom is telling its citizens who wish to leave the country to stay indoors and to register. potentially there might be some british evacuations. the americans, on the other hand, are saying they have no plans to evacuate any of their nationals. they don t think the situation has escalated enough to warrant an actual mission on their side. and we are also expecting this meeting today, ecowas countries coming together, ....
