Tuesday, May 11, 2021 Neal Scott Hagler the Berryville man who was taken into custody two weeks ago, more than 10 months after a judge ordered his arrest for allegedly violating his probation on a 2018 conviction for negligent homicide remained in the Carroll County Detention Center on Monday with his bond set at $150,000 cash. Special Judge Gary Arnold set the cash-only bond after an April 29 hearing. Hagler, 22, turned himself at the Arkansas Department of Probation and Paroles Berryville office on April 26, according to court documents. Arnold had issued two separate warrants for Haglers arrest in June and July 2020 after probation officials reported that he had violated the terms of his probation by failing to report, failing to provide a sample for a drug test, admitting to using marijuana and methamphetamine and failing to maintain employment. ....
Tuesday, April 27, 2021 Neal Hagler Neal Scott Hagler, the Berryville man who pleaded guilty to negligent homicide in connection with a fatal 2018 accident, was taken into custody Monday more than 10 months after a judge ordered his arrest for allegedly violating his probation. Hagler, 22, was booked into the Carroll County Detention Center at 9:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Carroll County Sheriffs Office, which listed the arresting agency as the Arkansas Department of Probation and Parole. No further details regarding the arrest were available. Haglers bond is set at $75,000 and he is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. Monday, June 7, in Carroll County Circuit Court in Berryville. ....

Courtesy of Carroll County Sheriffs Office A Green Forest man who was arrested in August 2019 after allegedly threatening a circuit court judge suffers from mental disease but has the capacity to understand the legal proceedings against him and to effectively assist in his defense, according to a doctor who examined him last month. Lance Joseph Parker, 29, is charged with threatening a judicial official and aggravated assault on a family or household member. He was arrested on Aug. 9, 2019, at a residence on Carroll County Road 955, according to court documents. The arrest came less than three hours after Parker allegedly made threats toward Carroll County Circuit Judge Scott Jackson during a phone call with probation/parole officer Suzanne Villines. ....
