10-member vaccine committee ‘finalizing distribution plan’ Dr. Merceline Dahl-Regis. In preparation for the arrival of COVID-19 vaccines, the 10-member National COVID-19 Vaccine Consultative Committee is working to finalize the operational plan to distribute the vaccine to eligible residents in the shortest possible time across The Bahamas, the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) said yesterday. The prime minister recently appointed the committee to advise him and the Ministry of Health on the development of the strategy, policies and activities related to the National COVID-19 Vaccination Plan. The committee will also review and guide the vaccine implementation schedules developed by the ministry’s technical team, as part of the monthly reports required for submission to the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), OPM said. ....
