Why ignore the truth? Our country ended 2020 in chaos. Between the pandemic and the election results, our country was in a hot mess! Two weeks after an attempted insurrection intent on destroying our democracy, a new administration began. But the GOP seemed intent on ignoring what happened ahead of the inauguration. They are back to being the party of “no.” After all the turmoil, the GOP is “not sure” that COVID-19 relief is needed. Somehow, they still think obstructing the work of our federal government is a good way to operate. Many have gone back to the old argument that the federal government can’t afford to spend the money because it would increase our country’s debt.
