Ahead of the cold front we are starting to see showers break out just in time for the evening rush. We have green on the screen pressing locally into the north bay first, santa rosa, petaluma, light showers falling at this hour. Further to the south, city of San Francisco, even the east bay, widely isolated showers at this hour but watch whats approaching in the south bay, with heavier downpours that are all moving north over the next couple of hours. We will see that move throughout the bay area. Lets time it out specifically in the south bay. In about the next half hour, san jose gets on this more moderate rainfall. In 45 minutes, right around gilroy. Within the 58 minutes, this moderate band of showers will move through livermore.
