mile per hour winds and that s going to drop visibility. the pink is the winter storm warning, where you could still get snow up to a foot. all the wind alerts you can see in the tan color. 50 to 60-mile-per-hour gusts that could take down some tree limbs and power lines and cause some power problems. we have a severe threat. the enhansed risk in the orange for the potential for a couple tornadoes. some of which could be strong, some damaging wind gusts as well. so here s a look at how this plays out. look at the line of strong storms across louisiana, where we could see some of the tornadoes embedded. plus the snow and the 35 murp guss. that s where you get the blizzard conditions. this continuing to work east by tuesday. the snow and the winds have been the great lakes. you have some of intense thunderstorms rolling through the carolinass. then you keep the 50 to 60-mile-per-hour gusts in new england along the east coast. that could continue to give you power problems. plus flooding.
