Moses was shot before dawn on Wednesday at his home in Port-au-Prince, Haitian authorities said he was a unit of trained killers made up of 26 Colombians and two Haitian Americans. Doubts have been raised, however, about this narrative, saying that at least two Colombian families have been hired as bodyguards. Martine Moise, who was injured in an attack on the president’s private residence and was taken to Florida for medical treatment, said her husband had been taken for political reasons.
