MP hails £11m apartment development for over 55s

WARRINGTON North MP Charlotte Nichols has hailed a £11 million apartment development for over 55s which offers residents the opportunity to ‘maximise their independence’.
The Labour politician visited Torus Group’s recently opened Harpers Green Extra Care scheme in Longbarn, on Harpers Road, where she had the opportunity to meet with staff and residents.
The development opened in December 2020 and offers 97 one and two-bedroom apartments for over 55s with care provided by national, Warrington-based charity Making Space and funded by Warrington Borough Council. ....
