Far too many seniors face isolation in their retirement years, Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre says. This is a circumstance amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Serre announced Friday federal funding of $145,597 for nine community-based projects in Nickel Belt and Greater Sudbury. These projects will help seniors stay active, informed and socially connected in their community, he said in a release.
