John Terrell Wilkins, 32, was charged with eight counts of attempted first-degree murder, nine counts of felony menacing, use of illegal large round capacity during a crime, possession of illegal large round capacity, bias-motivated crime, and eight crime of violence sentence enhancers. However, on Jan. 10, Wilkins entered a plea deal to the second-degree murder charge.
A man accused of attempting to kill a relative of a previous domestic violence victim on Dec. 19 has been formally charged with attempted first-degree murder.
