U.S. suspects in Carlos Ghosn s escape to be turned over to Japan: sources
An American man and his son who allegedly helped former Nissan Motor Co. Chairman Carlos Ghosn flee Japan in 2019 will soon be handed over to Japanese authorities, sources close to the matter said Saturday.
The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office sent prosecutors to the United States the same day to arrest the two men, Michael Taylor, 60, a former Green Beret, and his son Peter Taylor, 28, for enabling a criminal suspect to escape, among other charges, according to the sources. File photo taken April 25, 2019, shows former Nissan Motor Co. Chairman Carlos Ghosn being released from the Tokyo Detention House on bail for a second time. Ghosn escaped to Lebanon in December that year. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo
