Crashed into waters off the southern coast of south korea. apparently that in that particular crash there was a report of a fire in the cargo component. so a compartment of that plane in 2011, caused from a cargo fire in the cargo compartment. this would be the third major crash involving asiana airlines. we don t know the extent of injuries nor do we know how many passengers were on board. gregg: weather conditions appear to have been calm. partly cloudy skies, light winds, temperatures in the 60s, 9 mile-per-hour winds so fairly calm having lived in san francisco for about eight years. it gets quite windy in the city. it s calmer to the south which is where this airport is located.
