It was a woman from Cagliari, worried about the health conditions of her young son, a bodybuilding athlete, who triggered the investigation into anabolic drug trafficking which resulted this morning with the execution of five pre-trial detention orders, one in prison and four under house arrest, personal trainers in gyms in Cagliari. The Nas of Cagliari, in a year and a half, have thus reconstructed a group of fifteen people (in addition to the five arrested there are ten suspects) who used doping substances to face races and competitions. These are mainly athletic trainers but also pharmacists and a parent who had resold drugs (growth hormone) prescribed for his child illegally. The substances were bought on the Internet in foreign markets in Bulgaria.
