Vodafone Idea Limited on Tuesday, May 21, through an exchange filing announced that the Capital Raising Committee of Vodafone Idea at it meeting has approved the allotment of 1,395,427,034 equity shares. Each share has a face value of Rs 10 and is issued at a price of Rs 14.87. This price includes a premium of Rs 4.87 per share. The total amount raised through this allotment is Rs 2,075 crores
Vodafone Idea: The allotment of shares to the ABG entity concludes Vi’s over the Rs 20,000 crore fundraise via the equity route and sets the stage for the telco to borrow another Rs 25,000 crore from banks and line up additional non-fund based facilities of as much as Rs 10,000 crore.
The global setup is strong, with US stocks rising overnight and most Asian markets trading in black. Brent crude is also staying below the $90 mark, thanks to easing geopolitical tensions.
