The city of Seattle is hiring social workers as part of a program that removes police from policing. They're sending social workers to be hurt or killed.
A 10-year veteran of the Seattle Police Department is one of five challengers running to unseat the incumbent in the area's District 7 city council seat, which includes the beleaguered downtown. "Public safety is the first and foremost thing that I'm concerned about," police officer and candidate Aaron Marshall told the Jason Rantz radio show
