FEBRUARY 2024 was marked by the start of the 6-month Italian language course, tailored for a selected group of 40 young students from the Canossa-Tondo Children s Foundation. The teachers for the course (a native Italian speaker and a Filipino Italian teacher) were from the Philippine Italian Association. The language course served as an opportunity for the future of its participants. Becoming proficient in the knowledge of the Italian language could open a huge variety of possibilities, including the chance to obtain a scholarship for studying in Italy and to understand another culture.
