The Bishop of Liverpool (Dr Chavasse), who presided yesterday at the annual Sunday School Conference of Northern Dioceses, which was held in the Diocesan Church House, Manchester, said it was sometimes suggested that the day of the Sunday school was over, and that it must give place to something more efficient.
