National Day of Prayer draws close to 100 worshipers in Luna County

DEMING – The National Day of Prayer has been a part of Luna County culture under the guidance of Anne Marie Beck who has coordinated the local event for almost a decade.
The Luna County Courthouse Park has served as the meeting point for the National Day of Prayer and last week’s event drew local church organizations, businesses, and the public. Last Thursday’s event brought just under 100 people who joined in prayer for family, religion, government, business, education, arts and entertainment, media – the “Seven Mountains of Prayer.”
