Here s a breakdown on what that means. Over the weekend, a new round of stimulus payments began processing, according to officials at the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service in a report by KOIN-TV.  But if you weren t lucky enough to get the check in your account this weekend, you were probably trying to find out when you ll get your $1,400 stimmy. 

Stimulus check could be deposited this weekend

According to White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who informed reporters of the update on Thursday, deposits could start hitting this weekend. “People can expect to start seeing direct deposits hit their bank accounts as early as this weekend,” Psaki said at a press briefing. This is, of course, just the first wave, payments to eligible Americans will continue throughout the course of the next several weeks.” The news came minutes after President Joe Biden signed the $1.9 trillion Covid relief bill that included the $1,400 stimulus check, an extended $300 per week unemployment boost through September and a child tax credit expansion for a year, according to a report by CNBC.
