Former local swimmer headed to Olympic trials

A former Fort St. John swimmer with the Inconnu Swim Club is headed to Toronto to take part in the Olympic Trials.
To get a spot on the Canadian Olympic Team, Cale Murdock will race the country’s top 20 swimmers in the 200m and 400m Freestyle in April.
The Olympic Trials were cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, Swim Canada limited entries in each event to follow public health orders.
According to a Williams Lake Blue Fins Facebook post, Murdock was known as a potential invitee during the holidays.
The Tokyo Olympics are expected to take place this summer. ....
