She is the fifth person in history to complete the swim the first woman over it do it. Yeah. I feel, um, im overwhelmed. This is something i have wanted for so long. [ crying ] i cant believe i did it. And i mean, you know, they say its a solo swim but its not. This is my crew. And everybody got me across. Two boats were alongside kim the whole swim. But the rules were she couldnt touch the boat. She couldnt touch the crew members. The only way she could get food from them was the crew members had to throw out a container attached to a rope with food inside
As the fumes kind of gathered, i think it really started when we had two little kids who got a little overwhelmed by the fumes. Theyre still here. I dont think theyve been transferred to the hospital. I think they were treated here. Once that happened there was a response from Public Safety to figure out what it was. It should continue to weaken tonight and no longer a Tropical Storm by tomorrow. It was another warm to hot day around the bay area and muggy too. Thunderstorms moved in late and continue to be a possibility tonight tnat and over the next few days. Thunderstorms are coming up out of the south. They will be isolated but we could occasionaly see lightning and a few showers too through wednesday. You can see the area of low pressure off the coast. It will begin to slide north bringing unsettled weather across the area. Highs tomorrow will be warm and muggy with numbers in the 80s inland, 70s and 80s around the bay and 60s and 70s at the coast.
