Police say they tried to get the man to come out of it. They even brought his parents to the scene to try to talk to him but he refused, and they found him dead inside. The residence of the home that burned overnight. This is all thats left of their home and, they told us, their dog died if the fire. Police say the man who holed up in their house chose it randomly. The couple was not there at the time but worked with police throughout the night. We were in constant communication with the homeowner and made direct contact with them. Reporter Fremont Police say they believe the man who hid in this home shot two officers yesterday afternoon. Both officers are in the hospital, one in
