Buffalo County health department plans COVID-19 vaccine clinic for 100-Mile Garage Sale May 3, 2021 7:26 PM Mike Tighe (100-Mile Garage Sale Facebook Page) NELSON, Wis. – The Buffalo County Health and Human Services Department will host a walk-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Nelson this weekend, during two days of the four-day 100-Mile Garage Sale. The garage sale will take place Thursday through Sunday in 22 Wisconsin and Minnesota communities. The clinic, during which the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be dispensed, is scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday next to Beth’s Twin Bluffs Café in Nelson. ....

Tuesday, a crew from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District took its first official ice depth measurements of Lake Pepin for the 2021 season.
