Spilt chicken guts closes highway

A section of the Mt Lindesay Highway south of Brisbane has been closed until further notice after a truck and semi-trailer brimming with chicken guts lost its load, leading to surreal scenes. A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said they received a call about 1.35pm that the foul load had spilt onto the highway at Jimboomba, near the intersection of Camp Cable Rd. A semi-trailer full of chicken guts has lost its load on a Queensland highway creating a slippery, stomach-churching mess.  Police were forced to close a section of the Mt Lindesay Highway, south of Brisbane after the truck was involved in a collision on Monday.  Fire and Emergency Services received reports of a spillage on the highway at Jimboomba around 1:35pm, near the intersection at Camp Cable Road.   Queensland Police were forced to close a section of the Mt Lindesay Highway, south of Brisbane, after a truck and semi-trailer lost its load of chicken guts on Monday A spokesperson from the Queensland Police Service said the highway had been closed to allow for the clean up of the animal innards.
