CAMILLA, Ga. (WALB) - About 10:30 Monday evening, March 8, the GBI was requested by the Camilla Police Department to assist in a murder investigation that took place in the 100 block of West Circle in Camilla.

Marquerius Johnson, 27, known to the victim, was taken into custody immediately.
Mitchell County Coroner Stedderick Thomas said the victim was 28-year-old Shelby Rhymes.
