Meewasin Skating Rink (Tourism Saskatoon) Sharpen the blades and enjoy a skate at two of Saskatoon’s most popular outdoor rinks. The Clarence Downey Speed Skating Oval is now open to the public. Skaters can take a lap around the 400-metre outdoor oval from Monday to Thursday. Daytime hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In the evening, visitors can skate from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On Saturdays, the hours are from noon to 6 p.m. On Sunday, they are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The new warmup and washroom facility is under construction, but there are temporary washroom and changing facilities. ....
