Over 400 cases of COVID-19 have been reported at the State Correctional Institution at Cambridge Springs.
An outbreak in positive coronavirus cases has been reported at the state prison in Cambridge Springs.
The Department of Corrections dashboard on Friday said that there were 402 active cases and 32 staff cases at the State Correctional Institution at Cambridge Springs. However, Maria Bivens, press secretary for the department, said in an email to the Tribune late Friday afternoon that there were 390 active COVID-19 inmate cases.
Of those, 333 are asymptomatic positives and one inmate is at an outside hospital. There also are 27 employees who have reported positive tests results, Bivens said.  ....
