It is all we can do to get to every door as quickly as possible and make sure we at least make contact with somebody to get people out of the building. carley: certainly a joint effort between the police and fire. on the scene, how do you remember this night? intense would be an understatement. initially pulled up on the scene for totally unrelated call type. we were going to something completely different. when officer cometh he errored something else come indeed come a fire. when we arrived on the scene, the intensity of the flames just engulfed the whole east portion. we both realized we didn t have much time where we either had to get in there and help as many as we could or watch it burn. luckily, we had some other officers that were right on the scene after us able to help out our team. and led by a good lieutenant. ....
