CALHOUN COUNTY, MI – The search recently for the body of a woman missing since 2005 did not reveal any evidence.
Police were searching for the body of Ashely Parlier who was last seen in Battle Creek in June 2005, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office said. A cadaver dog assisted with the search in a wooded area of 6 ½ Mile Road in Newton Township.
Investigators were on scene Wednesday, March 31, from 8 a.m. until after 4 p.m., Calhoun County Communications Manager Lucy Blair said. The area was also searched for a day during the week of March 22. It’s unclear if they will search there in the future, Blair said. ....
