As the provincial shutdown extends further into spring, the Georgian Bay Folk Society is determined to still hold its Summerfolk 46 this summer.
What this year’s festival will look like remains up in the air, but organizers are prepared to adjust to whatever the COVID-19 landscape looks like at that point.

“The concept we are working on is really, really neat,” Folk Society President Deb Haswell said Friday. “We are really going to focus on local, we are really going to focus on Canadian musicians, who are chomping at the bit to perform in front of a live audience. It is going to be pretty amazing and it is going to blow people away.”
