CLEMSON, S.C. – The Florida State track and field team opened the 2021 ACC Indoor Championships with several performances qualifying for the finals and multiple personal bests.
Highlighting the day was sprinter Jo’Vaughn Martin who dropped a No. 9 national mark in the 200m prelims with a time of 20.72.  Martin, who has battled many setbacks and injuries thus far this season, competed for the first time in the Garnet and Gold on Thursday night. His opening meet performance earned him a spot in the FSU history books at No. 7.
“The biggest performance for the Men was Jo’Vaughn Martin’s 200m race,” said Head Coach Bob Braman. “He ran a top 10 national time and qualified 2nd fastest for the ACC final.” ....
