thanks, mike. new for you this morning, crime during christmastime im. robbery leads to a chase and crash. today in the bay s bob redell is live in fremont, where it ended. bob, are you going to tell us what happened at the beginning? reporter: correct, kris and marcus. this crash ended not far from here northbound 880 off mowery. this is off ranch drive near 880 and 237, it was around 12:10 this morning. police received a report that two people, a man and a woman, robbed that walmart, using a knife. when the police arrived, they saw the couple in the car, and that s when they tried to pull them over, but of course, the couple did not stop. they took off, according to police, and led them on a chase up 880. it s about a nine-mile chase, talking about up 880 and that s when they got just north of mowery here in fremont that they rolled over, and were taken into custody with non-life-threatening injuries. police did recover the merchandise as well that was stolen from
