Dramatic moment little boy is rescued from a frozen pond in Texas

A teenager and her grandfather saved a frozen 11-year-old boy from drowning after he plunged through ice on a pond in Texas.
Caitlyn Thomas, a senior at Jefferson High School, was walking her Labrador, called Kroger, when she saw the youngster struggling in the ice.
The 18-year-old said she ran and knocked on people s doors in an attempt to get help but found nobody home.
She had also tried to call 911 but could not explain her location to the dispatcher.
But a quick-thinking Caitlyn then called her grandfather Randy Thomas, who is a trained scuba diver and lives just one block away, before filming the proceeding rescue on her mobile phone. ....

Boy Rescued From Icy Texas Pond After Being Spotted by Dog Walker

An 11-year-old boy had a lucky escape after he fell into a frozen pond in Jefferson, Texas, on February 17 and was spotted by a passing dog walker who rushed for help. Caitlyn Thomas, a senior at Jefferson High School, was out with her dog when she spotted the child in the icy pond. Thomas said she knocked on doors of houses, looking for people to help, but found nobody home. She also called 911 but could not explain her location to the dispatcher.
