Tallahassee, Fla. – The No. 3 Florida State Seminoles started off the Unconquered Invitational 2-0. The Noles beath Southern Miss and conference foe No. 5 LSU on the day.

The Noles came out hot for the first match of the day, sweeping Southern Miss 5-0.
Raelyn White and Caitlin Godwin were dominant on court three. The duo took the first set efficiently with a 21-5 win. White and Godwin carried their momentum into the second set and quickly got the win 21-13.
Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff were on a mission on court one. The duo were surgical in both sets, winning 21-15 in the first set and 21-18 in the second set.
Alex Hilton and Cassie Anderson played well on court five, not letting Southern Miss have a chance to take a dual point. The pair won the first set 21-14 and played even better in the second set to win 21-13.

The Seminoles opened up the second day of the LSU Invitational with a sweep over Spring Hill College.
Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe continued their impressive weekend with another win on court five. The duo won 21-15 in the first set and played a great defensive game in the second set to win 21-10 giving the Noles their first dual point.
Anna Long and Jordan Polo dominated court two in the first set winning 21-8. The pair kept the momentum going into the second set, which ended with a 21-14 win.
Caitlin Godwin and Audrey Koenig sealed the match point for the Seminoles on court three. The pair took the first set to extra points but pulled out a 22-20 win. Tampa, Fla, – The second day of the Tampa Invitational Beach Volleyball Tournament kicked off with the No. 2 Florida State Seminoles taking on No. 3 TCU, Florida Gulf Coast and finishing the Invitational off against host Tampa.

The Seminoles had their biggest test of the season so far facing off against No. 3 TCU and the two teams came to play.
On court four the Horned frogs took their first dual point of the match, beating Alexis Durish and Caitlin Moon in two close sets. The first set finished 21-18 and the second set finished 21-16.
On court five, Alex Hilton and Makenna Wolfe had a three-set battle. The pair dropped the first set 21-16, then fought back from behind to take the second set 21-17. The third set was back and forth with an incredible effort from Hilton and Wolfe but ultimately ended in favor of TCU, with the Horned Frogs getting the 15-13 win.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Florida State beach volleyball has three of the four female members of the U.S. U21 beach volleyball team competing in the 2021 World Championships in Phuket, Thailand – Maddie Anderson, Raelyn White and Caitlin Godwin.
The FIVB Beach Volleyball U21 World Championships run December 14-19. Qualification takes place Tuesday, Dec. 14 and the main draw starts Wednesday, Dec. 15 (dates local to site).
Three American U21 pairs will begin in the 32-team main draw: Nicole Nourse/Maddie Anderson, Raelyn White/Caitlin Godwin and Matt Gentry/Phillip Catanzaro.
Godwin and White both finished their first season at Florida State in the spring while Anderson completed her first full season as her freshman campaign was cut short due to COVID-19.
