thousands of people who are there keeping up and maintaining a vigil, consistent political protest that shows no sign of going away. people come, people go. it s become a destination here in cairo. meantime, on the political front, there are continuing discussions between the opposition and the government and meetings but the bottom line is that the opposition is maintaining a strong hard line position that, before any progress can be made here, the president must resign. they re sticking to that position and not backing down. so far the government giving no indication that s going happen. a stalemate continues here with the government digging its heels in, proetstestors maintaining tr vigil and trying to achieve something of a normalcy for everyday people watching this and trying to not get caught in the fallout of it all. the government keeps making concessions. the opposition says you have to give us more, including the resignation of president mubarak, and that does ....
