Argos in Trowbridge donated £600 in vouchers to youth homelessness charity Argos in Trowbridge has given a youth homelessness charity £600 of vouchers from its annual community fund to help broken youth build successful futures. The catalogue giants chose to support Amber which houses up to 30 young people at Bythesea Lodge in Trowbridge. New store manager Sarah Lynes asked her staff which charity they should support and overwhelmingly, they chose Amber. Sarah visited the supported living centre with some of her staff to hand over the vouchers. Centre manager, Jennie Rubel said: “It was such a pleasure hosting Sarah and store staff, showing them around the centre and meeting some of the young people here so they could learn more about what we do. ....
Wiltshire charity, the Amber Foundation, has launched a crowdfunding campaign in response to challenges exacerbated by the pandemic. Amber houses and supports up to 30 young people from across the region at Bythesea Lodge, their supported living centre, in the heart of Trowbridge. The young people who come to Amber face a range of complex issues, which have only been made worse over the last year. The charity, who also work in Surrey and Devon, has been in operation for over 25 years and in that time have helped over 4000 young people turn their lives around moving on to bright independent futures. ....
