Malawi Media Mourn Rev Patrick Semphere; Kenny Klips

Media Council of Malawi (MCM) and Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) – Malawi have expressed sadness on the death of media champions, Reverend Patrick Semphere and Kenny Wako, AKA Kenny Klips.
Reverend Semphere and Wako died Thursday morning, January 21, 2020 in Lilongwe and Blantyre respectively.
Semphere succumbed to Covid-19 at Bwaila Hospital Isolation Centre in Lilongwe while Wako died at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre after battling an illness for some months.
Reverend Semphere moderated 2019 and 2014 Malawi Presidential Debates, was a trustee of MCM and chairperson of Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC). ....
