More than 300 treasure hunts. how did you first hear about it and why did you decide to go for it 300 plus times? well, i first heard about the forrest fenn treasure under through the today show back in 2013. and it sounded like an incredible adventure that i wanted to try. i believe that he hid it somewhere near santa fe where he lives, so it seemed like not a big deal to go check it out. as time went by and i thought i figured out more of his poem, i guess i was kind of hooked on the adventure. people are spending thousands of dollars, buying vintage maps, plane tickets, hiking gear, and more as they search for this treasure. how much time and detail and money have you invested in into this? well, i tend to do things, you know, on the cheap. i ve only invested a couple of pairs of hiking boots and, gosh, not much else, really. just gas and lunch when i m out. but when i search, i only spend ....
