Brianne Snow, executive director of the Family and Intercultural Resource Center, says the housing crisis already experienced in Summit County before the pandemic now feels like it has been greatly exacerbated. 
“The demand to live in our beautiful community has never been higher and many folks are fleeing cities connected to their employer to instead work remotely from their mountain homes,” she said. “Unfortunately, there is not enough inventory and our local workforce is oftentimes unable to compete with full-priced or above-asking-price cash offers on homes.
