Event Description
The Omni Center wants to show you how to give a little of your yard back to nature. A Butterfly Garden Workshop will be held on Saturday April 17 and led by UA Entomology Professor Don Steinkraus and native plant specialist Jane Steinkraus.
The event will cover the importance of native plants in fostering healthy butterfly populations and support the natural landscape. We will discuss how to select and nurture native plants, which have been donated by White River Nursery and Arkansas Master Naturalists.
The event s in-person attendance list is full but it will be streamed on Facebook live at the Omni Center for Peace Justice and Ecology facebook page. A video version will be for the Omni Center s Youtube channel.
