2020 at Campbell University | A look back | News

January 1, 2021 While COVID-19 influenced just about every aspect of our year, 2020 still brought out the best in our community We often use this day to celebrate the year that was at Campbell University, but on this last day of 2020, “celebrate” is hardly the word we’re looking for.  The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the infection of more than 83 million people globally and has been responsible for nearly 2 million deaths. It has shut down entire countries and wrecked once vital economies. It has changed our way of life on multiple levels, and in higher education, it has changed the way we teach and learn.
